The Department of Indigenous Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2024-2025 Regular session:


Course Number, Section, and Name:  INDG 398.3 (02) Indigenous Peoples and Critical Perspectives on Canada’s Legal System
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January to April)

Wednesday 9:00-12:15
Expected Enrollment Limit: 25
Qualifications:
PhD or MA in Indigenous Studies or a related field with demonstrated expertise in historical and contemporary forms of settler colonialism that target Indigenous Peoples, specifically related to Canada’s criminal legal system. Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies or similar courses is preferred.


Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
