Salary:


  • $19.53- $22.05/hour (As of January 2025: starting rate of $20.31/hour)
  • Salary increases per company policy, based on 6-month and yearly milestones, and annual cost of living adjustments

Hours: 40 Hours/week; Afternoon/night (4 p.m. start time) 10-hour shifts, between Sunday and Thursday

Physical Capabilities:

Work Site Environment:

    • Grocery area is warm
    • Cooler is approximately 1 or 2 degrees Celsius

  • Personal Protective Equipment required and provided by company (thermal freezer suit, gloves and boots)
  • Moderate level of noise
  • Exposure to and handling of all types of food products including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages and equipment

Additional Information: Must complete and pass 20-week paid training.


Duties:



  • Lift and load food service products onto pallets, and prepare pallets for shipping to a customer location

  • Accurately scan and select products using a computerized inventory system

  • Operate power equipment (e.g., electric pallet jacks, forklifts)

  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations and Food Safety programs

  • Meet productivity standards
