This position is based in the Edmonton, AB Industrial Office.

What You Will Be Working On

Office Operations

  • Reconcile credit card monthly

  • Collect, track, coordinate and file all IR related vendor and subcontractor information

  • Track Invoices and update budget monthly

  • Monitor and triage shared emails

  • Maintain resume databases

  • Maintain a list of Indigenous community contacts

  • Send out job postings weekly to community contacts

  • CRM input

  • Support Dashboard initiative data collection

  • Prepare board reports for JV’s as required

  • Book and coordinate travel

  • Swag budget/ordering/inventory management

  • Maintain meeting minutes

Events

  • Support IR team event planning

  • Pack and prepare swag for event

  • Preparing offerings/gifts for Indigenous ceremony

  • Send materials to other districts/offices for IR events

  • Ship Swag and promotional items to locations of events

  • Participate/maintain booth at events

What We Are Looking For

  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • High energy individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment

  • Understanding of Indigenous culture and protocol

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including, Excel, Word, Outlook) required

  • Excellent written communication skills, including letter creation, email communications, and phone presence

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to demonstrate high level of confidentiality, including tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a sensitive nature

  • Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
